Bridgwater Carnival 2017

Join The Breeze at Bridgwater Carnival 2017 on Saturday 4th November and find out all the information you need ahead of the big day.

The streets of Bridgwater will come alive with the sound of music on Carnival Day.

There’s jugglers, stilt walkers, street theatre, marching bands and entertainment especially for the children as well, ensuring there will be something for everyone to enjoy in the build-up to the evening parade.

But you will need to be in the town centre early to enjoy the full Bridgwater Carnival experience as the fun kicks off at 10.00am in the morning.

There’s live music on the Cornhill Stage from 10.30am to 7.30pm with music to suit most tastes.

The High Street Performance Area is the place to be to see the marching bands, majorettes and some hilarious street entertainment.

Meanwhile, the High Street Stage combines live music with street theatre, or you can sit and relax to the sounds of the Wells City Band and Somerset Songbirds as they perform live in the Baptist Church.

We will be broadcasting live from Bridgwater Carnival on the day too! Our live show is sponsored by Westerly Bridgwater MINI & BMW

The Carnival procession will start at 7.00pm until 10.30pm, with the grand squibbing display afterwards.
