Impacts of Storm Dennis still being felt across region

A tree fell into a block of flats in Bristol's Hanham area last night - leaving some people with minor injuries.

It was caused by Storm Dennis and was one of many incidents across the region over the weekend.

Emergency rescue crews from Burnham were called to help out in South Wales where a major emergency was declared

A man was found dead after falling into a river and some people were evacuated from their homes.

This morning, drivers are being urged to be careful on the roads as there's still flooding on many minor routes.

Burnham's hovercraft was used yesterday to help out in South Wales after a Met Office 'Red Alert' was issued.

In the trains both Great Western and South Western railways expect to run services after lines were blocked yesterday due to flooding.

Over the weekend the Watchet Coastguard have been on patrol to stop people putting themselves in danger at places like Dunster. Blue Anchor Beach and Doniford .

Across Somerset there's currently 16 flood warnings and 32 alerts. Dorset has 18 flood warnings and 29 flood alerts. Wiltshire has 14 warnings and 43 alerts.

In Bristol there's 1 flood warning for the lower Bristol Avon, from Twerton to the city.

There's also four flood alerts.

It comes as the Met Office are getting a 1-point-2-billion pound supercomputer.

The government say it's to improve forecasting for airports and to better predict storms in the future
