Charity asks how many 'pea-pol' can you see to help raise funds

Micheal Eavis is offering a signed poster as part of an Age UK Somerset competition to raise money for its work.

A staff member and Glastonbury festival enthusiast created this 'Pyramid Stage' in their garden and arranged the frozen peas  - with the charity now asking people to guess how many 'pea-pol' are there watching.

A spokesperson said: "To enter you first have to make any sized  - even pea-sized - donation to the charity and then include your guess.

"The prize is a hard-to-get-hold-of Stanley Donwood 2019 Glastonbury Free Press Glastonbury Festival Line Up art Poster donated and signed by Michael Eavis.

"Age UK Somerset is a Somerset charity, and as one of the most well known things in Somerset is the Glastonbury Festival."

The charity has set a fundraising target of £200. The competition closes Tuesday 30th June and the person with the closest guess will win the poster.

The Glastonbury festival was due to officially begin with the bands tomorrow, after opening its dooos yesterday. It had to be postponed due to the pandemic and bosses are welcoming this weekend's Glastonbury at home suggestions from fans.
