The Taunton Flower Show 2019!
We're excited to partner with the Taunton Flower Show 2019!
We will be hosting the Festival Village on the 2nd and 3rd of August. Russ Wilcox from the More Music Breeze Drive Time Show will be presenting the main stage on the 3rd of August.
Held during the school summer holidays on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd August amongst the stunning backdrop of Vivary Park in the centre of town, Taunton Flower Show is a great day out for everyone! You don't need to be a gardening enthusiast to appreciate the many delights the show has to offer, though if you are, there's plenty for those with green fingers.
The show is packed with entertainment to discover with a range of bands and singers in the Festival Village all hosted by The Breeze. There's even an inflatable bar and a fantastic Food Hall full of artisan food to taste and buy.
As a great way of keeping the whole family entertained, for those wanting a taste of the action, watch The BMX Show in the arena who will also be holding a meet and greet, as well as providing a participation area for those who would like to have a go themselves! Fuse Performance will also be performing aerial acrobatics, and there's fantastic brass bands who will be performing throughout both days.
A great spot for the family to visit is the Children's Area with an abundance of entertainment to keep the little ones amused, or pop along to the Bees and Honey Tent for a chance to find the Queen Bee, taste some honey and watch beekeeping demonstrations. The Competition Marquee is also a fantastic draw and always extremely popular with large displays of photography, baking, craftwork, home grown fruit, vegetables and floral arrangements.
Horticultural enthusiasts will have plenty to discover inside the Plant Village and Floral Marquee where you can pick up advice from experts on hand, do a spot of shopping, admire the fantastic floral displays and gardens as well as find a real bargain. There's also an abundance of stands selling the latest garden accessories, gadgets and machinery, or pop along to vote for your favourite Designer Garden, built especially for the show; these beautiful plots are a great way of showing what can be achieved in a small space and built in a matter of days!
The Craft Village is a lovely location for browsing the locally made products on display then visit the Rural Craft Area which has always been popular with demonstrators including blacksmiths or even stick making.
