How to play

In order to play The Breeze Radio Bandit, you’ll need to follow a few rules. When it comes to looking for me remember… safety first.

Do not harass people.
I know you desperately want to find me, but do not do it by annoying, chasing, or intimidating people. Ask everyone “Are you The Breeze Radio Bandit?” and if it is me, I will say “Yes” and give you an envelope. If it’s not me, be respectful, move on and ask someone else.

Do not approach anyone in a car.
I will never be in a car during game time, and cannot be identified while I’m travelling in any vehicle. Please, use your common sense and be safe – do not approach anyone while they are driving or travelling as a passenger in a car.

Be safe.
This is a game and I want you to have fun – but be sure to play safely. Do not run into traffic or go near trains/buses etc.

Do not go anywhere with anyone who claims to be The Breeze Radio Bandit.
I will never ask you to leave a public space, do anything or go anywhere. If you correctly identify me and ask “Are you The Breeze Radio Bandit?” I will hand you an envelope and walk away. A radio representative will then come and talk to you. If you ask someone “Are you The Breeze Radio Bandit?” and they say “Yes” and ask you to come with them, do not follow them. They are not The Breeze Radio Bandit. If they do not immediately hand you an envelope, they are not The Breeze Radio Bandit.

Do not engage with anyone who claims to be The Breeze Radio Bandit.
I will never approach you & tell you who I am. If anybody comes up to you and tells you that they are The Breeze Radio Bandit, walk away, it’s not me.

Do not go into private property.
My clues will always lead you to a public area – I will never be in a private residence. Do not trespass on private property.

Do not approach people at night.
The majority of games will be played during daylight hours. Do not approach people at night. I will nominate the game times for each day on air, and these times will typically be between the hours of 8am and 6pm. Any exceptions to these hours will be clearly announced on air, and any evening games will be in safe, public locations with large groups of people in attendance.
