People are being urged to be sensible in the water and take safety precautions.
Overnight in Dorset there's been a multi-agency operation to try and find a missing 17 year old snorkeler.
On Tuesday a 22 year old man died in a jet ski accident off Teignmouth.
On Bank Holiday Monday two people died in separate incidents in Cornwall.
Oscar Montgomery, aged 17, was diving off the coast of Church Ope Cove on Wednesday 27 May 2020. It is believed he was last seen at around 5pm.
Oscar is described as white and of a slim muscular build with brown hair and a small slit in his left eyebrow. He was wearing a dark-coloured wetsuit with black flippers and a black snorkel.
Officers have been carrying out searches, assisted by HM Coastguard, RNLI, Dorset Search and Rescue and the NPAS helicopter.
Chief Inspector Lance Cliff, of Dorset Police, said: “We are extremely concerned for Oscar and I am appealing to anyone who may have knowledge as to his whereabouts to please contact police immediately.
“I would be keen to hear from anyone who was out in the water in the area and recalls seeing a diver matching the description given and may have information that could help us find Oscar.”
A 22-year-old man died after being pulled from the sea at Teignmouth on Tuesday, while operating a jet ski.
He was rescued from the water by the RNLI who notified police around 9.40pm. Ambulance also attended and carried out CPR on the man.
He was taken to Torbay District Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The man was from High Wycombe. His next of kin has been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious and police are preparing a file for HM Coroner.
