Three people hurt in West Meon crash

Three people are in hospital with serious injuries after they were hurt in a collision on the A32 in West Meon.

Emergency services from across Hampshire were sent to the crash at around 9pm last night (Wednesday 15th May).

The collision took place in an area between West Meon Village and West Meon Hut.

The road was closed in both directions for a time but it later re-opened.

Hampshire Police have confirmed a 47-year-old man, a 61-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman - all from Hampshire - remain at Southampton General Hospital, where they're receiving treatment.

Around 25 firefighters helped with the response to the incident last night, including crews from Basingstoke, Petersfield, Cosham and Droxford.
