The boss of a charity based in Kingsteignton is today running from Dawlish to Newton Abbot and #Paignton as part of a 200 mile challenge meeting carers and families
Shared Lives South West supports more than 400 adults with special needs and matches them with a carer.
Dominic Spayne is stopping en route to have picnics with carers and those they support.
The challenge stretches from Barnstaple to Penzance and also highlights the charity's 15th anniversary.
In recent months Dominic completed marathons in Frankfurt and Boston.
He said: "It will be good to meet carers and of course promote Shared Lives along the way.
"There's no doubt, there are some tough parts on the route, but I'm determined to get to Penzance at the end of the week.
"If anyone wants to find out more about Shared Lives South West go along to one of the public events in Crediton, Dawlish, Devon Blue Light Day, or Plymouth to find out more."
He also hopes to raise money for Shared Lives South West, you can donate to the cause here
