Devon's Grinagog festival returns tonight, but in a scaled-down version being dubbed 'mini-gog'.
Last year Torbay Council announced it could no longer fund the three-day event which features live music and children's activities.
Since then organisers have stepped-in to keep events such as tommorrow's family day still going.
Events are centred in the grounds of Torre Abbey with music venues across the bay also organising different shows.
'Grinagog' is an old Devonian Word which means 'one who smiles a lot'.
The Breeze understands organisers hope to apply for funding - potentially from The Arts Council - to help expand the festival in the future.
