Undeterred by Storm Dennis, year-long swimming challenge continued

Two men from Brixham have been swimming every day for more than 200 days so far - including during the weekend's Storm Dennis - as part of a charity challenge.

The '365 Sea Swim Challenge' now has a cult following - with people turning up to join the swims who haven't met the pair before.

It started on July 11, 2019, after two childhood friends went for a swim at Shoalstone in Brixham and then decided to do it every day.

The pair only started fundraising in November - joking 'no one would give us money for going swimming in the Summer'.

They hope to raise at least £5,000 for the town's Shoalstone Sea Water Pool and Seal Project and are close to reaching the total.
