There's a large emergency service presence on Torquay seafront this morning following the death of a man aged in his 80s.
Corbyn beach is currently cordoned off, although the incident is not affecting traffic, while investigations continue.
Emergency services were called to the scene just before 730am.
They are currently parked on the pavement while police officers stand watch at the end of the cordons.
Search and rescue teams, a fire engines and ambulance crew have been at the scene this morning.
Police have issued a statement to say: "Officers are not currently treating the incident as suspicious.
"Police were notified at around 7.20am this morning to Corbyns Beach in Torquay following reports of a concern of welfare of a man on the beach.
"Officers and ambulance services are in attendance and a man in his 80s was pronounced deceased at the scene."
