Foodie Fortnight kicks-off on Monday - giving restaurants in Southampton a boost in trade as people get money off at their favourite restaurants.
'Go Southampton' - the city's Business Improvement District - are offering the discounts, encouraging people to wine and dine at eateries across the city over the next two weeks.
We spoke to Heidi Isa - the Marketing and Events Director at 'GO! Southampton' - who helps to organise the event. She says the scheme will boost the local economy:
"The hope is that businesses taking part will attract new customers to their doors, people that have never tried their restaurants before.
"We're thinking the long-term effect will be repeat customers and loyalty."

Heidi went onto explain how it's a great chance for locals to try a cuisine they haven't previously considered, with discounts at a variety of food outlets: "Foodie Fortnight is all about getting local people to discover new places to eat in the city.
"Giving them options so they can have a £10 or £15 offer. They can go and try new places at relatively low-risk.
"It's about getting local people who live in the city to come in and discover what's on their doorstep. People might live within a few minutes walk of somewhere that they've never tried and it gives them that impetus to try somewhere different."
