An 11 year old boy who died in a crash near Fareham has been described as 'one of the most caring and loving young lads you would ever meet'.
The family of Benjamin Mundy have paid tribute to him eight days after he was killed in a collision on Southampton Road in Titchfield.
The 11 year old was crossing the road when he was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Mokka and VW Golf.
He was taken to hospital but later pronounced dead.
Benjamin’s family have issued this statement:
“Ben will be sorely missed by every one that he came in to contact with.
“He had such a cheeky and mischievous sense of humour where he would be able to get away with anything with his cheeky smile.
“He was one of the most caring and loving young lads that you would ever meet.
“We are so proud of the young man that he was turning into.”
Hampshire Police are continuing to investigate what happened.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone who was travelling in the area who has a dashcam fitted in their vehicle, to call 101 quoting Operation Review.
