Anti-social teen jailed after assaulting emergency service worker

Police in Paignton have welcomed the jailing of someone they say was behind many of the town's anti-social behaviour problems

Sean Sims, 18, from Esplanade Road is starting an eight year jail term.

It is for offences including robbery and assaulting an emergency service worker.

A force spokesperson said: "Sims has been well know to our PCSO's in Torquay and Paignton and has been one of the main leaders of the anti social behaviour problems in Paignton.

"He was sentenced to eight years in prison at Exeter Crown Court for offences including robbery, assaulting an emergency service worker and wounding section 18 that occurred in Paignton bus station in January 2019."
