A man has been jailed for two years and ten months, after pleading guilty to burglary, fraud and motor vehicle theft offences.

Jacob Trussler, 35, of no fixed address confessed to the charges at a hearing at Reading Crown Court on 13 February, 2020.

It's after Trussler took a car from the driveway of a home in Ennerdale Drive on 26 September, 2019.

He then burgled a property in Glebe Road on 9 October, 2019 and went on to sell some of the stolen items.

He was arrested on 12 October and charged the following day.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Nick Packham, based at Loddon Valley police station said:

“I am pleased that Trussler pleaded guilty and will now spend time in prison to reflect upon his actions.

“Thames Valley Police take all reports of burglary and theft seriously.

"This behaviour is not acceptable and we will work tirelessly to bring offenders to justice.”
