Jail For Dealers Who Hid Drugs In Chocolate Wrapper

Two men have been jailed for nearly eight years between them for drugs offences in the Reading area.

Emmanuel Bossman, aged 25, of Argyle Street, Reading, (pictured left) and Chaman Shrestha, aged 24, of no fixed abode (pictured right), were jailed for five years and two years and eight months, respectively, at Reading Crown Court.

They each pleaded guilty to one count of possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply and one count of possession of heroin with intent to supply.

On 17 June 2016 Bossman and Shrestha were stop checked in a vehicle in Cheapside, Reading.

They were found with twelve wraps of heroin and crack cocaine, which were hidden in a chocolate bar wrapper.

Then on 6 August 2016, while on police bail, Bossman and Shrestha were found preparing crack cocaine and heroin for street sale in a hotel room in Wokefield Park, Mortimer.

The amount of drugs discovered had a street value of more than £6,000.

Investigating officer, PC Shannon Walker said: “The court heard that Bossman and Shrestha had an operational awareness of the impact their drug dealing was having on some of the most vulnerable people in society.

“The sentences they received reflects the severity of Bossman and Shrestha’s crimes and demonstrates that Thames Valley Police will continue to pursue drug dealers and bring them before the courts.”
