Whitney Houston Remembered
Saturday 11th February
9.00pm - 10.00pm
With Mark Franklin
Whitney Houston died, at age 48, on February 11th 2012. She passed away on the eve of that year’s Grammy Awards show, as music prepared to celebrate its best, the world lost one of the greatest voices ever known.
Whitney was one of the biggest stars on the planet. She sold over 200 million of her records worldwide, had multiple diamond and platinum selling albums and chart-topping singles, and even a 2009 Guinness World Record as the most awarded female act of all time, but it’s her voice that fans will remember.
In tribute to her lasting impact on pop music we look back at an impressive career that spanned more than three decades.
Join Mark Franklin this Saturday at 9.00pm on The Breeze for Whitney Houston Remembered.
