A kind-hearted couple from Minehead are appealing for anyone with spare braided cords to help them support local NHS staff.
Ray and Janet Waterman have been making washable bags for staff to carry their clothes home in - rather than relying on single-use plastic ones which are then discarded.
The bags are created from pillow cases donated by the town's Julian's Laundry.
The couple say they are struggling to order enough cords online and are appealing for anyone with spares to get in touch - to prevent a drop in production.
Each bag comes with a picture of a heart and message saying 'made with love'.
Anyone who can help is asked to email The Breeze news team via email@example.com and we will then put you in touch with the couple.
