The family of Bridgwater's Judith Legg have kept up her tradition - following her passing.
Last night they turned on the Christmas lights display at her home - something she was famous for.
They're accepting donations for the display which will go to the town's carnival - something Judith always enjoyed.
A spokesperson for Bridgwater Carnival said: "We are so honoured to have been chosen by Judith Legg's family to receive donations in her memory this Christmas.
"Jude was a much loved member of our community & is very much missed."
It followed a post on their Facebook feed by sister Joy which said: "We thought it would be nice to continue Judes yearly tradition and have her christmas lights put up around her house.
"What once started as just a christmas tree and a few lights she soon realised that the little kids (and big ones!) loved it so kept adding more.
"As she loved Bridgwater we thought it would be a nice gesture to maybe put something back into the town...one of her favourite things was the carnival so with the support of Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival committee we will be taking donations on their behalf.
"If you are passing by and would like to make a donation you can by safely popping it through the letterbox where it will forwarded directly on to them."
