Hampshire Police has arrested two men on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and have also seized a knife and metal bar, after being called to an altercation in Basingstoke yesterday morning.
It's after officers were called to Woolhampton Drive, after members of the public reported an incident at around 11.30am.
Upon arrival, officers arrested two men aged 21 and 22 and seized the dangerous weapons.
Neighbourhood Sergeant Trevor Taylor said:
“We believe this to be an isolated incident. We want to reassure the public we will be carrying out extra patrols in the area. Please speak to an officer if you have any concerns.”
