Three teenagers charged in connection with double stabbing in Trowbridge

Wiltshire Police have confirmed that three teenagers from Trowbridge have now been charged following a double stabbing in the town.

The incident happened near the Tesco Extra car park, County Way, at approximately 11.15pm on February 13. 

Two men in their 20s were injured – one suffered minor injuries, while the other was taken to Southmead Hospital in a serious condition. He has since been released from hospital. 
 
Today, officers investigating the incident have charged a 16-year-old boy and two 17-year-old boys, all from Trowbridge.
 
They have been charged with:
 
- Section 18 GBH
- Robbery
- Possession of a bladed article in a public place.
 
They have been remanded in custody to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court today. 
 
A/Det Sgt Ted Roe said: “This incident understandably caused a lot of concern amongst the community in Trowbridge and I hope this latest development provides some reassurance that we will not tolerate violence of this nature.”
