Over £600,000 raised for hospitals in North Hampshire

The Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital is one of the hospitals that will benefit from the funding.

A fund to raise money for vital equipment for health workers has over £650,000 in just 12 days.

The Hampshire Medical Fund is a charity that raises money for specialist equipment to be used at the Basingstoke, Andover and Winchester Hospitals.

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, the Fund set up their 'Dig-Deep' campaign to raise vital funds in what is an increasingly demanding time for health workers.

The money will enable frontline health workers to best support critically ill patients coming into Basingstoke, Andover and Winchester Hospitals at this current time.

Local hospitals have received the funds immediately and will see some of the specialist equipment they have ordered arrive in the coming days.

If you are interested in donating, you can do so by clicking on the charity's website here.
