Man suffers fractured skull outside Basingstoke pub

A man's been left with a fractured skull after being hit on the head with a bottle outside a pub in Basingstoke.

Police say a 38 year-old man was knocked unconscious by a bottle which had been thrown outside The Beacon Pub on Kings Road,.

It's thought to have happened sometime between 11pm and 11.32pm on Friday 10th May.

The male victim of the attack, who's from Basingstoke, was taken to hospital and underwent surgery.

Police say the suspect they're tracing is described as being a black male, aged between 20 and 25 years old.
