Crime prevention roadshows taking place across North Hampshire

Staff from the Safer North Hampshire community safety team and Hampshire Constabulary are providing advice on crime at several locations next month.

Advice will include property and personal safety, as well as protecting cars and valuable items.

A series of roadshow sessions - called Operation Stronghold - will take place in Basingstoke and Deane, Hart and Rushmoor Council next month.

The locations and times are listed as:

  • December 3: Basingstoke, Festival Place, 11-1pm
  • December 6: Farnborough, Princes Mead, 11-1pm
  • December 10: Aldershot, Wellington Centre, 11-1pm
  • December 13: Fleet, Hart Shopping Centre, 11-1pm

Advice at the roadshows will include; locking all doors and windows before going out, lock rear gates, secure and lock expensive items, lock vehicles and never leave valuable items on display.

The Safer North Hampshire community safety team comprises of teams of Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, Hart District Council and Rushmoor Borough Council.
