A man in his twenties is in a life-threatening condition after he was hurt in a serious collision in Reading.

The driver of the car wasn't hurt - an investigation's underway and Police are appealing for witnesses.

Investigating officer PC Belinda Simpson of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, based at Three Mile Cross, said:

“Our thoughts at this time are with the family of the man seriously injured in this collision.

“We are investigating the circumstances of this incident and would ask anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.

“If you have dash-cam footage from the area, either in the lead up to the collision or of the collision itself, we would really like to review the footage.”
