Emma received £100

We applied for a grant for our daughter Emma, who is a very talented 7 year old tennis player.  Due to her ability she plays "full court" and not the short tennis stipulated by the LTA for girls of her age, she is not allowed to compete in this country until she is 11 years of age, which makes it extremely difficult for her to be recognised and receive sponsorship.

The Breeze were interested in her story last year and following her radio interview, she was awarded a player's contract by Head, which is not normally available until 8 years or older.

At the time of the interview, I was informed of the possibility of a grant to assist us with the cost of her training.

She is currently training 4-5 times a week, which is very expensive, as is her equipment and clothing - she is growing fast!

Emma is a very determined young girl, and has her sights firmly set on winning Wimbledon one day, and the support from The Breeze is helping Emma to continue her training.

She would like to thank The Breeze and is truly grateful. Emma will always remember the belief The Breeze had in her at such a young age.
