Woman reportedly groped in park in Haslemere

Surrey Police is investigating reports that a woman was groped, after she was with friends at a park in Haslemere.

The woman is said to have walked off into a nearby woodland in Lion Green when the man approached her and groped her at around 4.30pm yesterday afternoon (02/06/20).

The victim shouted at him, ran back to her friends and then called the police who immediately flood the area.

Officers were unable to find the suspect and are asking anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously to get in touch.

They're also keen to see any photos or video footage that were taken at Lion Green that might help identify the suspect.

Police say they'll have an increased presence in the area as officers continue their investigations.
