Woman in her 80s burgled in Slough

Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary last week.

Two men entered a property on Northborough Road between 11am and 11.30am on Tuesday 14th July by damaging the front door.

One of the suspects sat with the victim, while the other searched the upstairs of the property.

Claiming he would secure the front door, the first male asked the victim for her house keys, who then directed him to her purse.

He stole £40 from her purse and both men left through the front door.

The first suspect is described as black, around 30-years-old, around five foot 10.

He was of a slim build, clean shaven, with short black hair.

The second is also described as black, of a slim build, with black hair and around the same height.

Designated investigator, Daniel Fallis, said: "This was a frightening experience for the victim who lives alone in the property.

"I am appealing to anyone has any information about this incident to please come forward.

"This incident occurred on a busy residential street and I am appealing to anyone who recognises the descriptions of the offenders, or saw anything suspicious around this time, to get in touch."
