Tributes Paid To Andover Motorcyclist Who Died In Crash Near Stockbridge

Tributes have been paid to a motorcyclist from Andover who died in a collision near Stockbridge at the weekend.

Andrew Mayer, who was 61 and from Fairways, died after a two vehicle collision at the crossroads of the B3420 and Newton Lane on Saturday 30th June.

The collision, which happened at around 1.40pm, involved a blue Hyundai and Mr Mayer’s motorbike.

His family have published this tribute:

"He was a devoted father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many.

“His family and friends are left devastated by the sudden loss. No words can truly describe how deeply missed he will be.”

Investigations into the collision are continuing.
