It's reported South West Surrey MP Jeremy Hunt has announced he'll be standing in the Conservative Party leadership contest.
Mr Hunt's been speaking at Haslemere Festival, where it's believed he confirmed his intention to stand.
He's been the Government's Foreign Secretary in recent months, having also previously worked as Health Secretary.
His announcement comes hours after Theresa May said she'll be stepping aside as Tory Party leader on Friday 7th June.
She's going to continue as Prime Minister until a successor is chosen, with a leadership contest due to start on Monday 10th June.
In a tweet, Mr Hunt has said now is the time to put aside Brexit differences and unite as a party and a country.
Speaking to a packed house in Haslemere Festival today: An historic day with the announcement of the PM’s resignation. Proud to pay tribute to her for the remarkable service she has shown our country.
