A driver's suffered life-threatening injuries in a serious crash near Blackbushe Airport.
Emergency services were called to the collision on A30 at around 6am this morning (Monday 8th April), to find the driver's car had collided with a tree.
An investigation's continuing.
The road was closed for a number of hours but it has since reopened.
Any motorists with dashcam footage of what happened are being urged to contact Police.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson issued this statement:
"We’re currently dealing with a serious collision near Blackbushe Airport this morning.
"We were called after a silver BMW 3 Series collided with a tree on the A30, between BCA Blakbushe and the airport, just before 6am.
"The driver of the car has been taken to St George’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
"Officers are currently at the scene investigating the exact circumstances of the collision.
"The road is closed in both directions on that section of the A30 and will be for some time as their investigations continue through the morning.
"We’re keen to speak to any motorists who were driving along that stretch of road in either direction at the time of the collision or shortly before as you may have information or dash cam footage that could help us.
