North West Hampshire Jobclub

The North West Hampshire Job Club has been formed to provide support and skill development for people in job transition or at risk of redundancy.  Through regular meetings members have the opportunity to network and to support each other whilst refining their skills and gaining knowledge for the journey back to work.  Meetings are held at the Wolversdene Club on Love Lane, Andover, every Thursday from 09:30 to 12:00 (ish).  Contact NWHantsJC or just turn up!

The Jobclub provides the opportunity to network and support each other whilst gaining knowledge and advice on the journey back to work. A structured programme of coaching, training and discussion will provide focus and help for the job search, which we feel is not available elsewhere.

This week the club will concentrate on what to do and what options are open to you after receiving notice, specifically aimed at those that are unable to get the level of support provided by other clubs or the Jobcentre Plus.

The club is open to everyone but will probably be more suited to motivated people who would benefit from additional focus and support. Where possible the job club will help individuals access local businesses through recommendation, introduction or support. For those looking to relocate they work with other job clubs, through GB Job Clubs, to locate a group in that region.

North West Hampshire Job Club is FREE and specialists, experts and professionals volunteer their valuable time to NW Hampshire Job Club.

In order to make this project work and to ensure that it has a sustainable future they are looking for both members and business volunteers to come forward.
