Inspero is a grassroots organisation based in Basingstoke giving young people the opportunity to learn how to grow, nurture and harvest food plus prepare and cook tasty nutritious dishes with the produce.
All food is grown using organic principles in particular companion planting to produce quality vegetables, fruit and herbs. Intergenerational working is also very important to us, young people working together with adult volunteers, sharing knowledge and learning from one another.
Inspero work at a local community level in collaboration with youth centres, organisation’s and schools supporting young people to increase their skills to achieve in life. They work with over 100 young people per year from 5 to 18 years of age and treat every young person as an individual with gifts and talents to contribute to society.
Inspero welcome all young people’s participation and we have a distinct social purpose to work particularly with children from socially disadvantaged communities. Keep up to date with ‘What’s Happening’ and maybe get involved !
The Love2Grow and Love2Cook community programmes are fun learning environments where young people and the “young at heart” are working alongside one another and learn about the enjoyment of food. If you would like to know more, please contact us.
If you would like more information or to get involved, please contact Catherine Waters-Clark email@example.com
