A man's been charged with causing GBH after a police officer was taken to hospital with serious facial injuries after being attacked in Southampton.
Robert Mann, who's 26 and from Coriander Drive, Totton has been charged with grievous bodily harm.
He's been remanded in custody.
A 27 year-old man from West Wellow and a 22 year-old man from Totton, who were also arrested in connection with the incident have been bailed.
A 32 year-old man who was also arrested has been released with no futher action to be taken against him.
The charges come after a 54 year old man suffered a serious facial injury in an attack by the Yates bar on Above Bar Street ikn the early hours Sunday 23rd June.
He remains in hospital and his family are being supported by specialist officers.
Investigations into the exact circumstances of the incident are ongoing.

“Our thoughts are very much with the officer and his family as we continue our investigations into what happened.
“There were a lot of people around at the time of this incident who will have seen what happened.
“If you were in the bar or outside when it happened please contact us because you may have information that could help with our investigation.
“We know a lot of people enjoy taking photos and videos when they are on a night out, so if you are looking at your phone this morning and you think you may have captured something, please let us know.
“You may not think what you have is of any use, but if you were in that area around midnight, it may be really useful to our enquiries.”
Hampshire Police Federation's Chair, Alex Charge, has described the attack as "horrendous".
