A motorcyclist who died when he collided with a car at the M4/M5 Almondsbury Interchange, has been named as 60-year-old David Naish.

David was killed on Tuesday 29 October in a crash at around 6:30am.

His family have released a tribute saying it "cannot be put into words" how much he will be missed.

You can read it in full below:

"On Tuesday 29th October the most wonderful husband, father and friend was taken from us far too soon.

"It cannot be put into words how much you will be missed and how much happiness and laughter you brought into so many lives.

"A funny and caring man, never without a smile on your face, you always put your wife, children and others first and would do anything for your family.

“As our dad, you are a massive influence and role model and we wouldn’t be who we are without you and mum raising us and we will be forever grateful for that.

"We couldn’t be prouder to call you our dad and we are so grateful that you were also a best friend and someone with whom we could have so much fun and enjoy so many amazing memories.

“As my husband, you were a soulmate and best friend; with you I spent the most loving, unforgettable 40 years and 3 months of my life.

"I have been so blessed to have spent this time with the most wonderful, caring, selfless man.

"It is heart-breaking when I think of all the plans we made for our futures but I am so grateful for the time we had together, undoubtedly the best years of our lives.

“You have made an impact on so many people and this has been shown through the support and love that has been received.

"We would like to thank everyone for the cards, flowers, love and support.

"There are so many stories and memories that have been shared and everyone will always say how much you were loved; the most kind and thoughtful man, you will be always loved and never forgotten.

“As the saying went: ‘Everybody loves Dave.”

A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the crash.

The police have appealed for anyone who witnessed what happened, to come forward.
