The organisers of next month's Andover Carnival have told The Breeze preparations are going well.
An estimated 8,000 to 10,000 people are expected to attend what's become a popular community event on Sunday 21st July.
Numerous organisations are taking part in the parade, which will go through parts of the North Hampshire.
The main event is being held at the Vigo Recreation Ground.
Kevin Rush is the Vice-Chair of the Carnival Organising Committee - he's told us he's so pleased so many people are getting involved with the event:
"We have 30 local groups taking part in the procession itself.
"We're estimating that'll mean around 300 to 400 people will be involved in that directly, which is great."
Kevin says it take a lot of time to get everything sorted:
"Our first meeting is within a week of the carnival itself, to look back at what happened and see how we can improve.
"We then go into monthly meetings from September onwards - and those become more regular the closer we get to the event."
The charities benefiting from this year's event are the I Can Therapy Centre and Andover Young Carers.
