North Hampshire fire crews tackle bin shed fire and blaze in between two buildings

Fire crews in North Hampshire have been sharing details about two incidents they dealt with last night and in the early hours of this morning.

Crews from parts of North Hampshire were first called to help put out a blaze in commercial premises in Fleet last night.

When firefighters arrived at the scene they found the flames were in a wall between two buildings.

Specialist cameras were needed to target the affected area.

Meanwhile, Police in Basingstoke are investigating a fire in a bin shed in Festival Place, which started in the early hours of this morning.

In a tweet, firefighters said they did have to deal with smoke from the blaze, which was well alight when they arrived at the scene just before 2am.

Officers have since confirmed they've made an arrest in connection with the fire, which was behind a restaurant in the town.

A twenty year old man's been arrested on suspicion of arson after the blaze behind Las Iguanas.
