Police are appealing for witnesses as they investigate a crash on the M25 in Surrey this morning, in which a man in his 70s died and three others were injured.
Police say the collision took place early this morning (Thursday 31st January) on the anticlockwise side between junction 10 for the Wisley Interchange and junction 9 for Leatherhead.
The man in his 70s, who was in a Mazda car, died following the collision. His next of kin have been informed.
A woman in her 60s, who was also in the Mazda, suffered serious injuries, while a man and woman in the VW Golf have been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the HGV, a man was not hurt.
